Welcome to the web site of Buckland Jones Archaeological Press (BJAP).
Its aim is to promote the Roman archaeology of West Cumbria in an enjoyable and explorative way. Clifford Jones writes walking guides about Roman routes in the area. His first book, Hadrian's Coastal Route is published elsewhere. The second, Eastern Hadrianic Way, is published by BJAP. It's available direct from the publishers, from Amazon, and in many Cumbria bookshops.
